Register now for an amazing program! On Saturday, January 12th, from 2 to 5 PM, we will be having a special Lifebook program. This unique event will be facilitated by adoption social workers from Spence-Chapin Services to Families and Children, who will help kids and their parents create beautiful, meaningful Lifebooks, which document the child's adoption story. This program will be open to families with kids ages 6 to 12, accompanied by at least one parent. It will require some preparation work, including printing up photographs and talking on the phone with one of the social workers from Spence-Chapin. The finished product and the experience are going to be amazing!
Because we are bringing in adoption professionals, and because they will be providing materials for the project, there will be a fee for the program. The cost will be $35 per child. Also, this event will only be open to current member families, so please make sure that your membership is active, and join or renew if necessary, before registering. The event will be open to current members of all four APC chapters.
