The Conference Center is located on the 7^th Floor of:

University Hall – The College of Education and Human Services.

Loading Dock is located in the back of university hall.  To enter loading dock you turn from Valley Road onto Normal Avenue, then you turn onto College Avenue, you continue on College Avenue curving to the left by the red hawk deck parking garage.  At the police station you make a right and then bear to the right up the hill and make a right into the first driveway.  This is the loading dock to University Hall.  There are doors in the loading dock that will lead to the elevators that go to the 7^th Floor where the Conference Center is.

Directions to Campus

Montclair State University is on the corner of Valley Road and Normal Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, one mile south of the junction of Routes 3 and 46.

Parking is available in the Red Hawk Deck adjacent to the Alexander Kasser Theater.  Exit the deck on the Fifth Floor and there is a path that leads directly to University Hall.  Go through the lobby and take the elevators at the North end in the building to the seventh floor; the conference center.

By Car:

• Route 46 (East): Take Valley Road exit at Route 3 junction, travel south approximately one mile to the Normal Avenue light, Please be sure you are traveling towards Montclair and not Paterson.  Turn right at the light.
• Route 46 (West): Take Valley Road exit immediately preceding the Route 3 junction, travel south approximately one mile to the Normal Avenue light, Please be sure you are traveling towards Montclair and not Paterson.  Turn right at the light
• Route 3 (East and West): At the Route 46 junction, take the Valley Road exit south for approximately one mile to the Normal Avenue light, Please be sure you are traveling towards Montclair and not Paterson .  Turn right at the light.
• Garden State Parkway North: Take Exit 153B (left lane) to Route 3 West to Valley Road, Montclair exit.  Travel south one mile to the Normal Avenue light.  Turn right at the light.
• Garden State Parkway South: Exit 154 to Route 46 West to Valley Road, Montclair exit.  Travel south one mile to the Normal Avenue light.  Turn right at the light.
• New Jersey Turnpike North or South: Take Exit 16W to Route 3 West. Take Valley Road, Montclair exit.  Travel south one mile to the Normal Avenue light.  Turn right at the light. (Motorist traveling north on the turnpike south of Exit 11 may exit there to the Garden State Parkway North.)
• Lincoln Tunnel: Follow to Route 3 West. Follow Route 3 directions above.
• George Washington Bridge: Route 80 West to Garden State Parkway South.  Follow directions above.

By Public Transportation:

Note: Not all trains stop at both the Montclair Heights and Montclair State University stations but all trains stop at either one or the other.  Please check the schedule for the Montclair-Boonton line at www.njtransit.com for specific timetable.

Whenever possible it is best to take the stop at Montclair State University train station, take the university shuttle bus from the station the “student center” this will bring you to the campus core.  Once outside the student center (white building) you will go to the tall, large building behind the student center.  This is University Hall you will enter building and take the elevators to the seventh floor which is the conference center.

• New York City (by Midtown Direct train): From Penn Station in New York, take Midtown Direct’s Montclair-Boonton line train to the Montclair State University Train Station.  (Some runs require a transfer at the Newark/Broad Street station). 
• New York City (lower Manhattan): Take the PATH train from the World Trade Center to Hoboken.  Transfer to NJ TRANSIT Montclair-Boonton line in Hoboken. Travel the Montclair-Boonton line train to the Montclair State University Train Station. 
• New York City (by bus): DeCamp Bus No. 88 departs NYC from the Port Authority Bus terminal.  Disembark at Montclair State University stop.
• Newark (by bus): NJ TRANSIT’s Bus No. 28 originates at Washington and Hill Streets, then travels through Bloomfield, Cedar Grove, and Montclair to Montclair State University.
• Passaic (Main Avenue Bus Terminal): NJ TRANSIT Bus 705 travels from Passaic through Clifton to Montclair State University.
• Wayne (Willowbrook Mall): Buses 28 and 705 originates at Willowbrook Mall from the west, travels through Little Falls to Montclair State University.
